I don't have time to mend clothes, I'm too busy cooking, cleaning and the like. I will sew a button back onto my husbands work clothes, he has to have those for work, but I won't hem the pants, especially since his work place should have had that done already. I simply don't see how it's my job to fix what they should have done in the first place.<br /><br />I do make clothes, I start out with fabrics I buy and actually am quite adept at using a pattern, I can even alter a pattern. I also knit and crochet clothes, mainly socks, hats, and scarves.
